Background

(1) The BWCAW consists of over 1 million acres of pristine wilderness in U. S. Superior National Forest/Voyageurs National Park and Ontario's Quetico/La Verendrye Provincial Parks.

(3) Entry point permits have a limited quota per day. To get a permit for desirable entry points, we should reserve through our outfitter no later than mid-March. https://www.recreation.gov/permits/233396.
