Nick Eastridge & Ron King - organizers: Difficulty 4 (out of 5). Join on an epic trip to hike the South Kaibab trail to the Colorado River, camp two nights near the legendary Phantom Ranch, and on day 3 return to the South Rim via the Bright Angel trail.

High-level Plan: 5 days
Day 1: Arrive at the South Rim and spend night in hotel on South Rim Village Day 2: Hike to Bright Angel campground (probably via South Kaibab Trail - about 7 miles and 4,000 feet down) Day 3: Recovery day and exploring the Phantom Ranch area Day 4: Hike back up to South Rim Village (probably via Bright Angel - about 10 miles and 5,000 feet up) and spend night at South Rim Day 5: To airport (but the trip might be shortened or lengthened depending on flight times and other add on side trips)
